CC3+ Tools
This small addition to CC3+ contains a few useful features. Note that all the commands contained herein are command-line only commands which must be typed on the CC3+ command line. To type in a command, simply start typing (when you are not in the middle of another command) and then hit Enter to execute it.
Installation
To install this add-on, simply download the zip file. Inside you'll find two files, CC3MonsenTools.dll and imagereport.xml. Put CC3MonsenTools.dll in your CC3+ installation directory (This is located at C:\Program Files(x86)\ProFantasy\CC3Plus by default) and put imagereport.xml in your CC3+ data directory (located at C:\ProgramData\ProFantasy\CC3Plus by default).
This tool requires that you have installed the latest update to CC3+, which should have taken care of all other prerequisites. Note that you should close all instances of CC3+ before copying in the files.
To uninstall the tool, simply delete the two files you copied in. This tool does not make any changes to your installation when run, so deleting the two files will make CC3+ behave as if they never were there.
Usage
The following commands are available- SCALEDRAWING: This command scales your entire drawing, including fill styles and effect settings. This is useful if you find you have drawn your in the wrong scale, but otherwise like how it looks. If you try to use tha regular scale command in CC3+ for this, you'll find that effects and fill styles don't match the new scale and you will need to tweak these manually, while after using this command the map will look exactly as before, but in the new scale.
- IR: The ImageReport command will tell you which add-ons your map
depends on. Only users with the same add-ons installed will be able to see your map
properly without seeing red X'es. This command will also list out all missing image
references in your map, which is helpful to diagnose what causes the red X'es to appear, as
well as "unknown" images, which are valid image references in your map, but doesn't belong
to a recognized add-on and can easily cause problems if the map is viewed on another
computer
Variations of this command are IRM, IRD and IRDM to show additional details, such as the paths of all images and not just unknown/missing ones. - SYMCOUNT: Counts the symbols in the current map, and tells you how many regular symbols and how many varicolor symbols there are. The total number of symbols is the sum of these numbers
